US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in Israel on Sunday morning. Before boarding his flight, he said that President Donald Trump was "not pleased" with Israel's recent strike in Qatar.
"The president was not happy about it. Now we need to move forward and figure out what comes next," Rubio told reporters ahead of his departure. "It won't change the nature of our relations with Israel. They will remain strong."
On my way to Jerusalem. My focus will be on securing the return of hostages, finding ways to make sure humanitarian aid reaches civilians, and addressing the threat posed by Hamas.

Speaking to journalists, Rubio stressed that Trump's objective was to secure the release of all the hostages, both living and dead, to defeat Hamas, to end the war and to rebuild Gaza.
