Netanyahu landed in Washington earlier in the evening, ahead of his meeting with Trump, where the two leaders are expected to review the detailed roadmap aimed at bringing the war in Gaza to an end.
White House correspondent Amanda Head, who witnessed the incident, confirmed that the vehicle was located at the corner of 18th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue when it went up in flames.
Authorities have not reported any injuries thus far.
