Earlier Thursday evening, during an operation by Border Police officers and IDF troops in the city of Jenin in the Menashe Brigade area, the forces moved to arrest wanted men involved in terrorist activity, including planting explosive devices and firing at security forces. The suspects belonged to a local terrorist network operating in the city.
The troops entered the area, closed in on the building where the suspects were holed up and initiated a surrender procedure that lasted several hours. When engineering tools were brought to bear on the structure, two wanted men exited the building.
