The Israel Hayom summit in New York City opens Tuesday, and will place the most urgent issues on the Israeli and American agenda at center stage. With the ongoing fighting in Gaza and in Lebanon and Syria, and with political changes underway in Washington, the conference will host a lineup of decision-makers, journalists, opinion leaders and senior figures from the Jewish community and the US administration.
The event will open with commentator Yoav Limor, Israel Hayom editor-in-chief Omer Lachmanovitch and the newspaper's publisher, Dr. Miriam Adelson. They will be followed by a series of in-depth interviews, keynote speeches, and panels.

In focus: Israel-US strategic alliance and the fight against antisemitism
One of the expected highlights is an interview with Mike Waltz, the incoming US ambassador to the United Nations and the thirty-second to serve in that role. He will speak with Israel Hayom's political analyst Ariel Kahana. Later in the day, former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will take the stage for a special conversation.
Another interview will feature New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who will discuss the city's role as a global Jewish capital at a moment of crossroads. Senator John Fetterman, one of Israel's most outspoken supporters in the US Senate, will speak about his steadfast stance alongside Israel. Special envoy Amos Hochstein will address the urgent question of Lebanon and whether the region is approaching an agreement or an escalation.

The human voices of the war
The conference will dedicate significant space to the heavy human toll of the war. A special panel will include Orna and Ronen Neutra, the parents of IDF officer Omer Neutra, who was taken hostage and later declared dead, and Yael Alexander, mother of hostage Edan Alexander. Another powerful session will feature former hostages Guy Gilboa Dalal and Evyatar David under the title From "Darkness to Light".

A large portion of the summit will focus on combating antisemitism and Israel's public diplomacy efforts. Speakers will include Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli, Israel's ambassador to the UN Danny Danon and former ambassador Gilad Erdan.
Live updates from the summit will be available on Israel Hayom's website starting Tuesday afternoon, 5:00 p.m. Israel time, 10 a.m. EST.
