Freed hostage Romi Gonen has been gradually adjusting to her life back home. On Tuesday, she revealed in Liel Eli's "60 Seconds" segment on V1 Instagram that she is "in love."
Romi Gonen endured 471 days of nightmarish captivity. She was released on January 19, 2025, and immediately entered a rehabilitation process that she is still undergoing. After courageously speaking out on the Uvda program ('Fact,' a current affairs show on Channel 12) about the horrors and harassment she suffered in Hamas captivity, she is managing to take small steps in reality afterward.

In the interview, she shared that she is managing to go out a bit to socialize and also dreams of a future as a "DJ." Between the rehabilitation, the coping, and thoughts about the future, she is also experiencing one of the wonderful things that happen in life – love, about which she prefers not to speak for now.
"For now, I'm keeping it to myself," she said with a smile and added, "Let everyone know that I'm protecting my man."
