Hamas has that it had passed on information about the location of Ran Gvili, the last hostage to remain in the Gaza Strip, and that the IDF are conducting searches based on that information. The IDF has not publicly commented on the claim.
The claim came as a senior US delegation met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem. Steve Witkoff, Special Envoy to President Donald Trump, said after the meeting that "both sides aligned on next steps and the importance of continued cooperation on all matters critical to the region." The Diplomatic-Security Cabinet was expected to convene later Sunday at 6 p.m.

The US delegation included Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Trump's son-in-law, senior adviser Aryeh Lightstone and White House adviser Josh Greenbaum. The talks focused primarily on continued progress and planning for the implementation of Phase Two of Trump's 20-point plan for Gaza, which the US and Israel are jointly advancing.
Earlier, Talik Gvili, Ran's mother, voiced concern over developments related to Gaza. "I very much hope they do not open the Rafah crossing," she said. "They know exactly what we think."
