For the past several days, forces from the IDF's 7th Armored Brigade, operating under the command of the Gaza Division (143), have been continuing operational activity in southern Gaza, east of the Yellow Line, with the aim of clearing the area of terrorist infrastructure above and below ground.

During searches in the area, the forces located approximately 110 mortar shells, several rockets and other military equipment. The IDF said the weapons had been concealed inside blankets and humanitarian aid bags belonging to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).

Separately, troops from the Alexandroni Brigade operating in northern Gaza identified four terrorists on Monday near the Yellow Line who were approaching IDF forces in a manner that constituted an immediate threat. The soldiers responded by killing the four terrorists, the military said.
