Former prime minister Naftali Bennett announced on Wednesday that two American political advisers and pollsters, George Birnbaum and Tony Fabrizio, have joined his campaign team.
Birnbaum is a longtime political consultant and the former partner of the late Arthur Finkelstein. He has been involved in every national election campaign in Israel since 1996 and has worked on more than 20 national election campaigns around the world.
Fabrizio is a senior political consultant and pollster who currently serves as an adviser and pollster to US President Donald Trump. He has experience in five US presidential campaigns and served as both pollster and adviser to Trump in two of those campaigns. Fabrizio continues to advise Trump during his current presidential term. He has also worked with dozens of US senators, members of Congress and governors, and has been involved in numerous national election campaigns worldwide.
Both Birnbaum and Fabrizio previously worked closely with veteran political strategist Arthur Finkelstein and have advised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the past.
Bennett welcomed the appointments, saying: "I am proud and honored to add two successful and highly experienced advisers like Tony and George to my team. Their extensive experience in Israel and around the world will be of tremendous value to me and to our campaign. I am confident they will help lead us to victory and, in doing so, also help heal and unite our country."
