The IDF confirmed Sunday, following the completion of a thorough intelligence review, that it had eliminated a Hezbollah anti-tank commander whose brother is the terrorist who carried out an attack on a synagogue in Michigan, USA, where the attacker was killed without managing to harm any of those present.

Ibrahim Mohammad Ghazali – a weapons team commander in a special department within Hezbollah's Badr Unit, and the brother of Ayman Mohammad Ghazali, a US-born Lebanese-American citizen living in the United States – was eliminated on March 5 as part of IDF operations against the Hezbollah terrorist organization in Lebanon.

Ibrahim Mohammad Ghazali, the brother who served as a Hezbollah commander, was killed in an IDF strike on a Hezbollah military structure in which large quantities of weapons and ordnance were stored and where members of the terrorist organization were present.

The Badr Unit, to which the eliminated terrorist belonged, is responsible for firing hundreds of rockets at Israeli civilians throughout the war.
