The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment in the Tel Aviv District Juvenile Court against a 14-year-old boy from central Israel, on charges including contact with a foreign agent, passing information to the enemy, obstruction of justice, and related offenses, after he carried out paid missions for hostile actors he suspected were Iranian.
The indictment, filed by attorney Livnat Melamed of the Tel Aviv District Attorney's Office, states that in April 2025, the minor reached out to a handler in a Telegram group in response to a job posting that caught his interest. The two agreed that the minor would carry out missions in exchange for payment in cryptocurrency, to be transferred to a digital wallet.

Among the missions the minor carried out for the handler and other agents were: spraying graffiti reading "We are committed to the covenant" in several locations across Tel Aviv and on vehicles; filming several-minute-long videos on streets near Ichilov Hospital (one of Tel Aviv's largest medical centers) and in neighborhoods in Ramat Gan; filming a video of the Tel Aviv skyline identifying the location of the Kirya base; and being asked to rent an apartment near the Kirya, in response to which he sent a photo of an available rental and spoke with several landlords in his area who matched the requirement.
The minor was also asked to spray graffiti on the home of Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, reading "We will avenge in turn! Children of Rouhollah (followers of Ayatollah Khomeini)," and to produce a video documenting the foreign minister's movements. The minor told the handler he could not do so because he was in school, and that he would be able to carry out the mission during a school break.
Over the course of the period in question, and at the request of the hostile actors, the minor opened four digital wallets, into which the handlers transferred more than $1,170 in payment for completing the missions.
After being questioned in connection with this case, the minor attempted to persuade a classmate to lie during the investigation and falsely claim that he had transferred most of the funds found in the minor's digital wallets.
