Poll: Right favorite to win despite PM shedding support

In case elections was held, ruling party would shed significant support and drop to 29 seats (from 36), mostly at the expense of right-wing party Yamina, which would surge to 17 seats (from 6).

Likud internal polling suggests that if an election was held today, the ruling party would shed significant support and drop to 29 seats (from 36), mostly at the expense of right-wing party Yamina, which would surge to 17 seats (from 6).
But the poll also shows that despite Likud suffering from the coronavirus crisis, the Right and Haredim bloc will dominate the Knesset and have an easier path to power than after the latest election, as it would no longer depend on  MK Avigdor Lieberman Lieberman's Yisrael Beytenu, which has boycotted Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu despite being on the Right, or Blue and White, an alliance of left-wing parties.

According to the internal Likud Poll, conducted by pollster Rafi Smith, a new party led by former Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot and Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huladi would get 12 seats.
Another poll commissioned for cable's Channel 20 and conducted by Maagar Mochot shows that an early election would result in Likud getting 27 seats while Yamina would get 19. The new party would get 11 seats.
A poll published earlier this week by Channel 12 News had Likud and Yamina effectively tied in case another election was held, getting 26 and 23 seats respectively.
