The IDF conducted an operation early Friday morning to mapped for demolition the residence of Palestinian terrorist Daoud Abdel Razak Faiz who perpetrated a truck-ramming attack near a Jerusalem checkpoint a day earlier, killing Cpl. Maksym Molchanov.

Soldiers stationed in the Ephraim Brigade carried out a thorough search in the village of Deir Amar, where the perpetrator is from. Clashes erupted during the operation, with Palestinians throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at the Israeli forces.

The IDF used non-lethal means to disperse the crowd and reported no injuries.
Faiz, who had a work permit, rammed into four soldiers stationed at the Maccabim checkpoint. After managing to flee, he was tracked down and neutralized at a nearby crossing.
