Hamas fired two massive volleys on Israeli cities in the center of the country on Friday just after 2 p.m., resulting in an apartment building in Tel Aviv sustaining a direct hit.

According to Magen David Adom in Israel, the chief first responder organization, there was one person who sustained moderate wounds, with two others treated for light injuries.

The building that was hit in the southern part of the city was damaged on its top floor with the blast ripping through the walls and roof, although the residents of the affected apartments were not present, as they had left to take cover in the stairwell. The building lacked a proper shelter, as it was a relatively old one.
Although other reports by Israelis to various emergency centers indicated that there were other hits in the Tel Aviv area, no additional casualties were reported.
