A terrorist arrived at around noon on Sunday at the "Kiosk Checkpoint" located in the area of Ma'ale Adumim near Jerusalem. According to a police statement, the terrorist pulled out a sharp object and began running towards the fighters while shouting "Allahu Akbar." Border Police officers who noticed this opened fire toward him and neutralized the terrorist. It was unclear what his condition was, although no Israeli casualties were reported.
The incident occurred during an operation by IDF Border Police forces to maintain routine security at the checkpoint near the town of Abu Dis, in the Etzion Regional Brigade in the Judea and Samaria area.
