A senior official in the Houthi militia in Yemen told Reuters that the ceasefire agreement signed with the United States "does not include Israel, in any form." According to him, the agreement only addresses confrontations with the US and its partners in the Red Sea.
Despite Oman's announcement that launches in the Red Sea would stop, the Houthi spokesman said this morning to Al-Jazeera, "We will continue to attack Israeli ships until supplies enter Gaza." Simultaneously, the IDF announced that an unmanned aircraft launched from the east toward Israel was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force.

US President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that the Houthi rebels in Yemen had informed him that they "don't want to fight anymore" and would stop firing on ships in the Red Sea. "They have capitulated, but more importantly, we will take their own word," Trump said. "They say they will not be blowing up ships anymore, and that's the purpose of what we were doing," Trump said during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
Senior Houthi official Dhaifallah al-Shami responded to Trump's comments in an interview with Al-Mayadeen. According to him, "Trump is not telling the truth. No official from Sanaa or Ansar Allah [the official name of the Houthi militia] contacted him or wrote to him. There will be no cancellation of aid operations until the aggression on Gaza stops and the siege on the Palestinians is lifted."
