Anat Angrest, mother of kidnapped Israeli soldier Matan Angrest, revealed she will publicly release additional footage from her son's abduction video on Monday evening.

"For 611 days I refrained from watching the complete video, which shows the start of the brutal assault on my beloved son, Matan," she stated. "Dozens of terrorists attacking a single soldier. Yesterday evening, I compelled myself to view it for the first time. We are left with no alternative. Matan faces life-threatening conditions. Tonight, we must release another portion of the video to the general public. We wish we could spare ourselves this ordeal.

"In recent weeks, we launched an information-gathering campaign to comprehend Matan's medical situation. Following meetings with released hostages who encountered Matan, we uncovered an enormous discrepancy between official briefings and the grave medical state Matan endures. We suffered a devastating blow – while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remained unaware that Matan sustained injuries, we learned that Matan battles open burns, inflammation, infections, and high fever. These conditions exist alongside unmistakable evidence of torture and electrical shocks. Consequently, we have no option except to present the public with these harrowing images, documenting the savage attack perpetrated against Matan on October 7, revealing his serious wounds that remain overlooked simply because he serves as a soldier. Due solely to this designation, which should inspire national pride, our Matan gets marginalized and never receives a 'humanitarian' classification.

"Matan is in life-threatening danger, wounded and bleeding. We cannot abandon him again. Forgive us, our Matan. Don't give up, because we are not giving up on you."
