Pro-Iranian media reported Thursday that the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of strikes in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen and the main stronghold of the Iran-backed Houthi rebels. According to the Arab channel Al-Mayadeen, there were more than 10 Israeli strikes in the city.
A security source confirmed to Israel Hayom that the target of the Israeli strike was a meeting of senior Houthi officials. Earlier, Arab media reported that the strikes were aimed at homes where leaders of the terrorist organization were hiding.

The IDF Spokesperson confirmed that the Israeli Air Force struck a military target belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime in the Sanaa area of Yemen.
Sky News Arabia reported that the Israeli Air Force struck the al-Sabeen district of Sanaa, which includes the presidential compound and a central security camp belonging to the Houthis.

Among the senior Houthi figures now seen by Israel as potential targets are Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi; Abdul Raza Shahlai, regarded as the commander of Iran's Quds Force in Yemen; Mehdi al-Mashat, considered the head of the Supreme Political Council; and Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, who serves as commander of the Houthi terrorist army.
