In an interview with Al Jazeera, Hamas official Ghazi Hama said he was among the senior Hamas negotiators targeted in last week's Israeli strike in Doha.
Hama claimed that Hamas' experience with the American mediator was bitter, adding that Washington lacked credibility after withdrawing its own proposals. Regarding Netanyahu's comment on reshaping the region, Hamad said such a claim demands a united Arab position.

According to Hamad, senior Hamas officials examined a US proposal for a cease-fire, and an hour later a massive strike took place. He said that the officials quickly evacuated the building, which saved their lives. Within less than a minute, he added, about 12 missiles struck in what he described as an intense attack.
Last week, Hamas leaders Izzat al-Rishq, Osama Hamdan and Husam Badran were seen attending the funeral of lower-ranking operatives. At the time, a Hamas source told Qatari media that the intended targets of the attempted strike included Khalil al-Hayya, Zaher Jabarin, Bassem Naim and Hamad, none of whom were initially mentioned among the senior figures marked in the attack.
