The Ministry of Defense put finishing touches on an elaborate welcome ceremony at Ben Gurion International Airport, installing a 50-meter (164-foot) red carpet and dozens of American and Israeli flags as Israel prepares to receive US President Donald Trump on Monday, with the high-stakes visit arriving at a critical moment as the Israel-Hamas deal for the hostages' release unfolds.

The Amon Division (Operations, Logistics, and Assets) at the Ministry of Defense, which is responsible for organizing the reception for the US president at Ben Gurion Airport, completed in recent days the preparations for the visit to Israel.
At the center of the ceremony plaza, a red carpet approximately 50 meters (164 feet) long was placed, a platform for journalists and photographers, and dozens of Israeli and US flags were hung.

Head of the Amon Division at the Ministry of Defense, Erez Tzidon, said, "The visit of the US president against the backdrop of the framework for the release of our hostages is accompanied by excitement and great anticipation. The people of the Amon Division have been working around the clock in recent days to ensure that everything will proceed according to plan and that the event will pass in a successful and dignified manner."
