A parent's confusion at a preschool in the Israeli town Harish triggered concern among residents on Monday afternoon. Harish Municipality and Israel Police clarified Monday morning that the incident involved a local parent who arrived to pick up his child but mistakenly entered an adjacent private daycare facility. After investigation by the Police Station, the circumstances surrounding the arrival were clarified to the authorities, and suspicion of criminal activity or attempted kidnapping was completely ruled out.

Harish Municipality announced that, following Monday's statement and in cooperation with city security authorities, volunteer security patrols will be expanded near educational institutions in the coming days. The expansion will focus on preschools and schools during class start and end times. The initiative aims to strengthen security confidence among children and parents and increase vigilance in public spaces.
The municipality emphasized the importance of avoiding the spread of rumors or unverified information and relying solely on official statements from security authorities and the municipality.
