US President Donald Trump said on Friday that he had decided not to launch an attack on Iran, following a conversation on the issue with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the second such call between the two in two days.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said the decision was his alone. "Nobody convinced me. I convinced myself," he said.

Asked whether the assistance he hinted at for the Iranian people several days ago was still forthcoming, Trump replied: "We'll see."
On TRUTH, the social media platform he owns, Trump wrote that "I greatly respect the fact that all scheduled hangings, which were to take place yesterday (Over 800 of them), have been cancelled by the leadership of Iran. Thank you!"
Trump's remarks came after his latest call with Netanyahu on Iran, according to a report by Barak Ravid on Axios.
