A rolling shooting attack in Israel's Sharon region left one person murdered and six others wounded after gunfire that began at a gas station in Kokhav Yair and continued to Tzur Yitzhak and Tzur Natan. Two terrorists were neutralized by security forces, one of them an Arab Israeli.
The terrorist began the shooting spree at the gas station in Kokhav Yair. He then continued shooting in the community of Tzur Yitzhak, where the security guard was wounded by gunfire. The terrorist also reached a third scene in Tzur Natan, where residents were asked to remain in their homes following exchanges of fire.

The terrorist was neutralized, and searches are underway to determine whether additional terrorists were involved. The IDF said that troops, in coordination with security forces, were dispatched a short time ago to Sla'it and Tzur Yitzhak following reports of several shooting incidents in the area.
Amir, a clerk at the gas station and convenience store in Kokhav Yair, said: "I was inside the store and heard a boom. I didn't understand what had happened. I thought it was from the air pump for inflating tires. Then police and ambulances arrived. Only then did I realize there had been shooting."
