Move follows Oracle's decision to close its Tel Aviv-based accelerator after two years. Layoffs are part of a cross-organizational move, Oracle is expected to fire 10% of its employees worldwide.
"Ignite" project aims to assist Israeli companies develop technologies in artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. Intel is one of the biggest employers and exporters in Israel, where many of its new technologies are developed, and plans to invest $11 billion in 2019 to expand its manufacturing operations in the Jewish state.
