Suspect Dion Marsh, 27, is said to have made antisemitic remarks after his arrest. He has been charged with three counts of attempted murder, carjacking and bias intimidation.

Barry Jacobson was sentenced to six months in prison and fined $10,000 for setting his home on fire. During the trial, the jury foreperson referred to Jacobson as “one of those New York Jews who think they can get away with anything.”

New York Mayor Eric Adams tweeted: “Hatred won’t be tolerated in our city. Anti-Semitic acts of violence are an attack on every New Yorker and they will be met with the force of the entire city.”
