The poll was published after German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer announced a six-point plan to combat anti-Semitism and right-wing extremism.

In wake of attack on a synagogue in eastern German city of Halle, about 10,000 people participated in the march through the German capital. Several thousand others protested in other cities. Many Germans are in shock over the attack, in which two people were killed.
