The footage taken by Hamas terrorists' bodycams shows the harrowing ordeal of the young field observers stationed along the Gaza border on October 7, when they were forcefully abused and taken to Gaza.

The Alma Research Center, which monitors the northern front, assessed that the targeted site served as a weapons and ammunition smuggling hub, facilitating the transfer from Syria into Lebanon. Qusayr's proximity to the border makes it a key point along Hezbollah's smuggling routes.

Belgium's former migration minister condemned the EU's condolences for a "butcher and cruel mass murderer" and added, "You don’t speak in my name.”

“AP staff were explicitly warned last week and still refused to stop servicing this terror-supporting channel [Al-Jazeera],” Israeli Communications Minister Karhi said.

Although not elaborating why Israel should be treated the same way as Hamas – a terrorist organization – she noted that “more than four months ago, the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court asked me to assist him with evaluating evidence of suspected war crimes and crimes against humanity in Israel and Gaza. I agreed and joined a panel of international legal experts to undertake this task. Together we have engaged in an extensive process of evidence review and legal analysis including at the International Criminal Court in The Hague."

The conventional wisdom is that the strike aimed to hit a weapons shipment in Iran's "weapons corridor" destined for Hezbollah, but Israel has not confirmed that. 

Reservist Eyal Berkowitz set out to retrieve the bodies of hostages from the Jabaliya area, but was killed by a roadside bomb.

"No apology. No explanation. I believe this is a perfect example of 'too little, too late,'" Davidai commented.
