Israel is weighing its response after Hamas' cynical transfer of a Palestinian body, which it falsely claimed was a fallen Israeli hostage, repeating a previous deception.

An Emirati news outlet has assessed the projected costs of reconstructing the Gaza Strip’s infrastructure and housing. The success of any rebuilding plan depends on the establishment of a stable governing authority in Gaza after removing Hamas from power. 

"He was locked in a cage the width of a mattress and 5.9 feet (1.80 meters) tall. For over a year, he was chained to the bars."

On Thursday, David Cunio, Eitan Horn, and Nimrod Cohen were roused by the Hamas, telling them an agreement had been signed and they were going home after 768 of being cut off from the world. Hostages walked regularly in tunnel to maintain fitness.

Tamir Nimrodi was abducted on Oct. 7 and there was grave concern over his condition as there was no sign of life. Uriel Baruch was murdered and kidnapped after attending the Nova festival. Eitan Levi was a cab driver who drove to Be'eri.

As most of the deceased hostages have yet to be returned to Israel, contrary to what was agreed upon, Israel decided to keep the Rafah crossing closed to traffic and to reduce the flow of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.

Hostages freed yesterday have begun to share fragments of the nightmare they endured for two years. Avintan Or described a failed escape attempt. “There were times they hardly saw daylight,” said a relative of another survivor.

The pro-Palestinian activist accused Israel of murdering Gaza-based influencer Saleh al-Jafarawi, who was actually killed in a clan feud in Gaza. Al-Jafarawi was shot dead by members of the Durmush clan.

Hamas terrorists made direct video calls from their own phones to the families of hostages Matan Zangauker, Nimrod Cohen, and brothers David and Ariel Cunio, allowing the hostages to show they were alive.
