Decisive moments in Washington as the president and Israeli leader push to complete the hostage deal by the weekend.

Defense Minister Israel Katz and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir spoke at the Israel National Defense College graduation ceremony. Zamir said the region's geopolitical shifts bring positive opportunities while some changes require increased preparation. Minister Katz emphasized that the IDF is positioned in the Hermon to protect Golan Heights and Galilee residents, with the presence serving as a diplomatic asset for possible future arrangements.

According to the Saudi channel A-Sharq, the Israeli delegation has refused to withdraw from areas captured after March 2. Meanwhile, the IDF has begun preparations to establish a humanitarian zone that will accommodate 350,000 residents of the Gaza Strip.
