Sanctions continue to mount on Moscow as Ukraine and Russia’s foreign ministers meet for talks. Kyiv bans grain exports to prevent a humanitarian crisis.

Months of talks to restore the 2015 pact which lifted sanctions on Iran in return for curbs on its nuclear program have reached their final stages, but have been complicated by a last-minute demand from Russia for guarantees that Western sanctions imposed over the war in Ukraine would not affect its business with Iran.
