Put an end to the threats from Iran and Hezbollah

This is a particularly opportune moment for Donald Trump to alter the world order in the face of China and Russia and to reshape geopolitics in the Middle East. For now, Beijing and Moscow are hesitant to intervene and even abstained from voting on a Security Council resolution condemning Iran.

For 47 years, Western nations engaged in direct dialogue with Iran, fully aware that the ayatollahs cheat, lie, and utterly disregard the treaties they signed. They never seriously considered or planned the overthrow of the Islamist regime. Today, President Trump has finally understood that this bloodthirsty regime will only fall through force of arms. However, the United States has never succeeded in changing bloodthirsty and corrupt regimes through purely military operations. They failed in Lebanon and Iraq, not to mention the defeats in Afghanistan and Vietnam.

In contrast to the appeasement policy of his predecessors, with full awareness of the internal and regional risks and the repercussions on the global economy, Trump made a bold and historic decision, aware that he could no longer count on his European allies or on NATO and that the IDF and the Mossad were the most competent to accomplish this complicated mission beyond national borders.

The war against Iran is undoubtedly complex and dirty. This vast country is ruled by fanatical and cruel mullahs. How can one overthrow an autocratic, religious, and police state in the absence of a structured opposition with a providential leader at its head and activists on the ground?

Crown Prince Pahlavi is in exile and is unpopular with all segments of the population. The struggle against the mullahs is therefore fierce and protracted. Nevertheless, it remains a vital, just, and achievable mission, provided it is pursued to the end.

After three weeks of fighting, the toll of the war is truly staggering. On the very first day, the spiritual leader was killed along with his family and top generals. His son, Mojtaba Khamenei, is wounded and at risk of suffering the same fate. The American-Israeli strikes targeted all infrastructure and military, government, and police bases, as well as nuclear sites, air defense systems, and missile launchers scattered throughout this vast country.

Currently, Donald Trump is still muddying the waters and hasn't specified when he will end hostilities. Nevertheless, he wants a total victory and therefore will have to continue the strikes with renewed vigor until the mullahs capitulate. He no longer wants another round against Iran, nor does he want to repeat the same mistakes of the past by agreeing to indirect talks with the ayatollahs under pressure from Saudi Arabia, Turkey, or the Gulf states.

Without a doubt, powerful America is capable of withstanding all the economic and stock market fallout for several more weeks, provided it controls and secures the Strait of Hormuz.

While Israelis are running around day and night in shelters and living in uncertainty and anxiety about tomorrow, in Europe people are more worried about the increase in the price of gasoline… the life and safety of Jews is no longer a major concern for them?

And yet, the soldiers of the IDF are proving, once again, exemplary courage. They are exposing, in broad daylight, the true face of the mullahs and giving the entire world a brilliant lesson in solidarity. Through their actions, they are demonstrating true moral and universal values and proving that they are always the first to come to the aid of oppressed and distressed minorities.

This is a particularly opportune moment for Donald Trump to alter the world order in the face of China and Russia and to reshape geopolitics in the Middle East. For now, Beijing and Moscow are hesitant to intervene and even abstained from voting on a Security Council resolution condemning Iran.

It's worth remembering that since 1948, Moscow has threatened to intervene on behalf of the Arabs and has supplied them with weapons, but it has never fought directly against the IDF nor served as the sole mediator in resolving the Palestinian problem. Putin is deeply concerned about the war in Ukraine. China's only concern regarding Iran is its oil supply.

As a result, President Trump will be able to negotiate with the Chinese from a position of strength during his next official visit to Beijing scheduled in two weeks.

As for Europe, it remains divided and powerless in the face of the great powers.

President Macron warns Israel against a regional conflagration and condemns its ground intervention in Lebanon. He repeats the same old refrain, foolishly distinguishing between Hezbollah's terrorist wing and its political and social wing. Macron loves symbols, pomp, and ceremony. He flexes his muscles but doesn't react forcefully. He sends his navy to the Mediterranean only to protect his own citizens. The situation in the north of our country is untenable, and we should, with the help of the United States, eradicate the military force of the Shiite militia. This is our absolute right, our legitimate self-defense, after the Lebanese army's failures to dismantle Hezbollah's destructive arsenal.

Since Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem pledged allegiance to the new Iranian Supreme Leader, he has been considered a dangerous enemy, and a bounty has been placed on his head.

With its back against the wall and considerably weakened, Hezbollah is playing with fire and trying everything at once. It made a grave mistake in attacking Israel. We should fight it with all the means at our disposal, without hesitation or mercy.

Sunni and Christian Lebanese are not our enemies, and we wish to coexist with them and sign a viable peace agreement. Lebanese President General Aoun's call for direct negotiations is a significant step toward normalization, but it requires, first and foremost, a united front against Hezbollah with military support from the United States and substantial economic aid from Saudi Arabia.

Total isolation of Iran from the international stage is necessary to hasten the fall of the Islamist regime. Therefore, it is essential that Western countries sever diplomatic relations with Tehran and close their embassies. They must also freeze all assets held in European and American banks and confiscate all real estate acquired through deceit, fraud, and the systematic theft of Iranian funds and money laundering.

The war against Iran and its allies must continue with determination, but without partisan or electoral considerations. This military campaign will be painful and arduous, and soldiers will fall on the battlefield.

The home front is a sensitive and priority area. The government must take appropriate measures. We should wage this war with a precise operational plan and a clear, long-term military, diplomatic, and media strategy. The goal is justified and legitimate: to definitively end the threats and ensure stability, security, and peace with our neighbors. Let us therefore be patient and confident. Let us strengthen our resilience to achieve a better future.
