Europe's refusal to assist the current war effort against Iran surprised many in Israel, as well as US President Donald Trump, who expressed strong anger over the conduct of the Spanish government and French President Emmanuel Macron. Yet this surprise is entirely misplaced. European civilization effectively breathed its last during World War II.
While in World War I most European states fought against the expansionist ambitions of the German Kaiser, the reality during the Nazi German occupation was completely different. Many European populations collaborated enthusiastically with the occupation regime. Additional countries such as Spain, which even sent the Blue Division to fight alongside Germany against the Soviet Union, as well as Italy, Norway, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, which for part of the war effectively fought alongside Germany, and Switzerland openly or quietly supported German Chancellor Adolf Hitler.
Beyond that, one can also recall the massive number of young French women who entered into relationships with German soldiers, a situation that occurred in almost every occupied country.
This enormous moral and spiritual bankruptcy, along with the collaboration of the cultural elite, was largely concealed after the war. Many French citizens suddenly claimed they had helped the resistance fight the occupation regime. Italy disavowed Benito Mussolini, while Spanish dictator Francisco Franco withdrew inward and fell silent. Yet all this amounted to a smokescreen that hid the spiritual surrender of an entire world that had silently accepted, and at times even assisted in, the destruction of European Jewry and the extermination of the Roma.

This reality became even more evident after the war, when the leading power financing the NATO alliance was the United States. Western European states paid their share to the defensive alliance, but it was clear in practice that the force that would truly defend the continent was the US. In other words, Europeans enjoyed shelter under the American umbrella while they themselves sank into hedonism and dismantled their national identities through the creation of the European Union.
The establishment of the union, which was perceived as a kind of end of days promise, in fact represented the final dismantling of the national sentiments of the continent's countries. Decisions about the future were handed over to gray bureaucrats who embraced the most extreme liberal worldview.
This new bureaucratic regime seated in Brussels was alien to any form of national vitality and in hindsight effectively fulfilled the German intention of eliminating all nation states on the continent. It is also interesting to note that even today the central economic power of the union is reunified Germany, which is responsible for most of the gross domestic product of this technical and largely unnecessary body.
Another expression of the continent's collapse was its complete detachment from its Christian history. This was not active heresy but rather a quiet decline of faith, reflected in turning away from childbirth and reproduction.
Are you wondering about the connection between religion and natural population growth? There is in fact a correlation between these two factors. The correlation stems from the fact that a believing individual is not focused solely on himself but on a broader set of values that includes continuity. As this set of values fades, the individual becomes focused only on personal well being, often at the expense of other universal values such as investing in children, who require almost limitless existential energy, and sustaining natural population growth.
Against this background it becomes clear why most Western European states opened their gates to radical Islamist elements whose central aspiration is to transform all of Europe into a Muslim region, just as happened in Spain in the past.
These elements entered a national and cultural vacuum and exploited the situation, intensifying the corruption of the continent to the point of absurdity. We now see LGBT organizations demonstrating in support of Hamas and Iran, states where such people are thrown from rooftops and executed by various methods.
Those who helped create this reality were the wealthy Gulf states which, together with Saudi Arabia, effectively bought the continent with oil profits. This purchase occurred without resistance, to the point that even important national symbols passed into private Islamic hands.
One of the most extreme and bizarre examples of this phenomenon was the troubling relationship between the late Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed, the son of Egyptian billionaire Mohamed Al Fayed.
In light of all this, it is entirely clear why Europe today does not support the forces of freedom but rather the murderous Iranian terrorist regime. This support stems from the simple fact that the leading forces on the continent, in effect the only living spiritual forces there, are Islamic. Thus before our eyes the European continent is sinking into the Islamic ocean, becoming a modern Atlantis, sinking before our very eyes.
