The coronavirus has claimed a second Israeli victim, the Health Ministry reported Tuesday.
The patient, a 67-years-old woman, was hospitalized in the Wolfson Medical Center in Holon, a suburb of Tel Aviv. The hospital said she had several serious pre-existing conditions.

The virus claimed its first fatality, an 88-years-old resident of Jerusalem, over the weekend.
Earlier Tuesday, the ministry reported that the number of Israelis diagnosed with the coronavirus has risen to 1,656. Of those, 30 were said to be in serious condition, 47 in moderate condition and the rest were experiencing only mild symptoms.
Forty-nine Israelis have recovered from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
Over 65,000 Israelis are currently under home quarantine.
The Health Ministry is currently investigating a third possible coronavirus death – that of a 60-year-old man from central Israel – Channel 12 News reported.
