Fans who purchased tickets for the performances in August will receive new admission certificates by email, he pledged.

The Quebec native's first concert in September 2019 reportedly caused pandemonium, with Israelis flocking to their local box-office and purchasing all available tickets in a few hours, leading to a second performance.

"I was really hoping to get back on stage this year, but... health is more important than anything," Dion dais in a statement.

"The whole world is going through a difficult period with the virus. I know that we will eventually recover and make up for lost time. I miss the concerts and I can't wait to sing for you. Take care of yourself," she added.
