Coronavirus appears to be less scary for Israelis than the possibility of being involved in a car crash, according to a study from the Or Yarok road safety nonprofit group.
The study showed that 42% of respondents worried about getting into car accidents, compared to 24% who worried about being the victims of terrorist attacks and 21% who worried about contracting COVID-19.

Only 10% of respondents said they believed that drivers bore sole responsibility for accidents, while 69% said the responsibility was shared between drivers and the Transportation Ministry, which 21% saw as responsible for Israel's failure to reduce the number of car accidents in 2019.
