An Israeli firm recently launched an innovative protein drink in the Far East with a very specific audience in mind: children. Nutritional Growth Solutions growth-support drink powder is the product of extensive research by world-renowned scientists and doctors, the company said.
The drink, "Healthy Height," is an evidence-based, clinically tested nutritional growth solution for children developed by pediatricians at Schneider Children's Medical Center in central Israel. After establishing Healthy Height sales in the US, and on the heels of a recent launch in China, the company is now gearing up for expansion into South Korea, Japan, Australia, and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region.

Schneider pediatricians have over 20,000 patient visits every year from children with growth-related issues. This has spurred these world-renowned scientists to use their extensive clinical experience to develop a growth-support drink powder to nourish growing children between the ages of three and nine.
A clinical trial for Healthy Height published in the US-based peer-reviewed magazine, the Journal of Pediatrics showed that children who included it in their diet for one year added 13.8%-34% to their annual growth in height.
Healthy Height is not a meal replacement, as the protein drink takes a more supplemental role, still leaving room to focus on developing healthier eating habits.
"There is no doubt that genetics plays the most significant role in an individual's height, with studies showing this accounts for up to 80% of final height," CEO of Nutritional Growth Solutions Liron Fendell said.
Some of the countries showing the most significant gains from nutritional knowledge are in Asia. According to a scientific study published in eLife, women in South Korea gained an average of 8 inches in height in the past century – a bigger jump than any other population, globally. In Japan, the average increase has been 6.31 inches. Americans, on the other hand, are shrinking. The data is clear: nutritional value plays a crucial role in growth.
