The Israel Police Internal Investigations Department on Wednesday arrested a policewoman on suspicion of aiding arms trafficking, breach of trust, and obstruction of justice.

According to available details, the policewoman allegedly used her access to department files to provide her friends, who were involved in the arms trade, with classified police information which aided them in the alleged commission of felonies.
She is expected to be arraigned by the Jerusalem Magistrates' Court later on Thursday.
