Screenz Live, a marketplace that offers hundreds of courses, lectures and virtual workshops, has raised $5 million in a seed round led by Unicorn Technologies Partnership, the company announced Monday. Keshet Group, which already collaborates with Screenz Live; CoShare investment group; and private investors Ilan Greenbaum, Cinema City owner Moshe Edri and Or Elovitch.

Screenz Live was founded in 2020 by The Box Group as a rich marketplace for quality video content, with the goal of enabling creators to generate revenue directly from their audience and broadcast content using advanced technologies. In the year since its launch, Israeli creators have earned more than 4 million shekels from the sale of the content uploaded and broadcast on the platform.
The capital raised in the seed round will be used to develop the platform, expand marketing, and hire more employees. The company currently employs about 20 people in its offices in Tel Aviv.
The platform recently launched in the US and offers a variety of content to an English-speaking audience.
