Father of TA attacker joins Jenin march held after terrorist Zubeidi's death

Palestinians marched in honor of terrorist Daoud Zubeidi in Jenin on Sunday. Daoud, the brother of former Al-Aqsa Brigades Commander Zakaria Zubeidi, died of wounds sustained in clashes with Israeli security forces in Jenin at the Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa last week.

Among those who joined the march was Fathi Hazem, who threatened Israel in remarks to the crowd. The father of Ra'ad Hazem, who killed three Israelis in a terrorist shooting at a Tel Aviv bar last month, Fathi has refused to turn himself in unless Israel hands over his son's body.

Meanwhile, Otzma Yehudit party leader Itamar Ben-Gvir has faced threat threats over his protest of the Israeli decision to provide Zubeidi with medical treatment at the entrance to his hospital room.

Zubeidi was seriously wounded in the Jenin clashes and was transferred to Israel for medical treatment at the Palestinians' request.

Speaking outside of Zubeidi's room, Ben-Gvir said: "Those who seek to kill our fighters should not receive treatment and treats at hospitals. They should get the electric chair."

In one threatening image posted to social media, Ben-Gvir is depicted in what appears to be the crosshairs of a rifle with the caption: "From point-zero range, the response will come." The post, which refers to Ben-Gvir as "uncivil" and an "inciter," asserts the Israeli lawmaker must be killed.

The Otzma Yehudit party head had already been afforded tight security to contend with increasing threats from Palestinians on his life.

Ben-Gvir told Israel Hayom, "Hamas' and the Islamic Movement's threats do not scare me, and they only push me to continue to act for the Jewish people and the State of Israel. I only express astonishment that with all the threats coming from inside state territory, indictments have not been filed despite the suspects having been caught. It's unclear how I and my wife are getting hundreds of threatening messages with slaughter marks and illustrations of knives and axes and the law enforcement system fails to get its hands on the rioters and thugs."
