Iran has carried out "a number of successful operations against the Zionist regime in recent months," Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib boasted before parliament in Tehran Wednesday.

According to state-run media outlet Tasnim, Khatib noted that these alleged operations came on top of "countering the Zionist regime's plots in recent months,"
He said the operations "signify the security power" wielded by the Iranian Intelligence Ministry.
Detailing these operations, Khatib credited his ministry's "outstanding success in thwarting" Israel's plots, to the fact that they "adopted a people-oriented approach and have ensured sustainable security in the country in interaction with the people."
He stressed that his ministry has the duty "to fight against terrorism, the Zionist regime, and the acts of sabotage against Iran."
