Paramedics provided initial medical care and resuscitated the woman, who was then transferred to the Sheba Medical Center in Ramat Gan. She was put on a ventilator and is in serious condition.
"When we arrived at the scene, we saw the woman lying unconscious in the street," one of the paramedics said. "She had no pulse and was not breathing, and we immediately began efforts to resuscitate her. Using special medical equipment, we extracted pieces of food from her throat. After she got a pulse, we transferred her to the hospital, where is sedated and on a ventilator in critical condition."
