"I want to wish you all a happy Father's Day, but please, please, please wear a helmet. If I hadn't, honestly, I wouldn't be here now," Ramsay cautioned, underscoring the severity of the incident.

On his Instagram account, Ramsay also shared before and after photographs, showcasing the substantial damage to his helmet, a testament to the accident's intensity.

The chef revealed that the cycling mishap occurred several days ago in Connecticut. He expressed gratitude to the trauma surgeons and nurses at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital for their care and attention.

While Ramsay clarified that he did not suffer any broken bones or major injuries, he described himself as "a bit bruised up looking like a purple potato" and acknowledged the pain and challenges he faced during the "brutal week" following the accident.
