Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib shared a fake poll today on the social network X, claiming that most Israelis support the rape of imprisoned terrorists. The Muslim legislator, a member of the House of Representatives, shared a satirical tweet that included a poorly edited version of an older survey published over a year ago on a different topic.
Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib has retweeted the tweet on the left which contains a digitally altered image.
That is NOT what the poll question was.
The poll question was do you think the government has surrendered to terrorist supporters?

The fake poll posed the question, "Do you agree that a soldier is allowed to rape a bound terrorist?" with 47 percent of respondents supposedly answering "agree" and 43 percent "disagree." The original survey, presented by Amit Segal of Israeli Channel 12 over a year ago, asked, "Do you agree that the government relies on supporters of terrorism?"
The fake poll was disseminated by a pro-Palestinian user named Nora Arakat, along with the caption, "When you tell a certain society that it has the right to commit genocide, of course, they will think they have the right to rape."
