The Islamic Jihad terrorist organization released a video today (Wednesday) of Sasha Trufanov, who was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7.
Israel Hayom will not publish Trufanov's video, and will not cooperate with the psychological terror tactics of terrorist organizations.
In the video, Trufanov speaks of his longing for his friends and family, and he asks the public to remember him and the other hostages. He also states that his life is in danger.
Lena Trufanov, Sasha's mother, responded: "I am relieved to see my son alive, but deeply troubled by what he describes. I urge everyone to make every effort to free him and all the other hostages immediately. They don't have time."
This is the third video released by the terrorist organization featuring Trufanov, who has been in captivity for 404 days and celebrated his 29th birthday in captivity yesterday.
Trufanov was abducted from his parents' home in Nir Oz along with his mother Lena, his grandmother Irina, and his girlfriend Sapir and taken to Gaza. Lena, Irina, and Sapir were freed after 54 days in captivity—but Sasha remains in Gaza.
