The family of hostage David Cunio announced today (Monday) that they had received a sign of life from him through one of the hostages who was released as part of the current deal.
Cunio, 34, was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz along with his wife, Sharon, and their daughters, Yuli and Emma, who were freed in the previous deal. On that same Black Saturday, his younger brother, Ariel, was also kidnapped, along with his partner, former hostage Arbel Yehud.
The mother of brothers David and Ariel, Silvia Cunio, protested last Friday, calling for the return of the hostages. "October 7 is still ongoing for me," she said. "The wait is nerve-wracking, but my strength comes from the public and from those who come to offer support."
