Hezbollah evacuates Iranian officers from Lebanon amid fear of Israeli assassinations

The terrorist organization is concerned that Israel may attempt to assassinate Iranian officers to embarrass Tehran and disrupt its negotiations with Washington. Hezbollah is also reportedly hoping for the success of the nuclear talks currently taking place in Oman between Iran and the US.

Hezbollah has reportedly instructed the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to withdraw its officers from Lebanon, fearing that Israel may target them in order to embarrass Tehran and disrupt ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and the United States.

According to Arab media reports on Monday, senior Hezbollah figures asked the Iranian leadership to remove IRGC officers currently stationed in Lebanon, amid growing concerns that Israel may attempt to assassinate them. The goal, sources say, would be to undermine Iran's position in the talks with Washington and possibly inflame tensions further.

Hezbollah officials reportedly believe that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is determined to hinder Iran's progress on its nuclear program, particularly its uranium enrichment and the operation of key nuclear facilities. The terrorist organization is said to be closely watching diplomatic developments and expressed hope that talks now underway in Oman between Iran and the US will yield progress on the nuclear issue.

According to Saudi outlets Al Arabiya and Al Hadath, IRGC officers regularly travel to Lebanon, often under tight security measures aimed at preventing any intelligence leaks that could be exploited by Israel.

During the war in Lebanon, Israel has eliminated several Hezbollah operatives and senior officers. These assassinations have prompted Hezbollah to launch missile attacks on Israel in response.
