Talks in Doha are ongoing, and the Prime Minister's Office released an intriguing statement, marking the first time in a long while that it has mentioned the possibility of reaching a deal that would end the war and secure the release of all hostages.
The statement read: "Even at this hour, the negotiating team in Doha is working to exhaust every chance of reaching a deal - whether according to the Witkoff framework or as part of an end to the fighting, which would include the release of all the hostages, the deportation of Hamas terrorists, and the disarmament of the Gaza Strip."
However, a senior political source clarified after the Prime Minister's Office issued its statement that, in practice, the negotiation teams in Doha are discussing the Witkoff outline framwork, not the possibility of ending the war through mutual agreement.

The updated version of the Witkoff framwork currently under discussion in negotiations includes a 40- to 50-day ceasefire in exchange for the release of 10 living hostages. Ten days after the ceasefire begins, a detailed list will be provided by Hamas, indicating the condition of the remaining hostages.
In parallel, negotiations will take place aimed at ending the war and securing the return of all remaining hostages, both the living and the deceased.
