Activists from the "Tsav 9" organization and the reservists' group "Generation of Victory" blocked access to the Kerem Shalom crossing on Wednesday morning, preventing humanitarian aid trucks from entering Gaza.
The demonstrators are protesting the continued delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip while 58 hostages remain in the hands of the terrorist organization Hamas. "No aid until they're home," read one of the slogans.

The protest follows the entry of 93 supply trucks into Gaza on Tuesday, carrying flour, baby formula, medical equipment and pharmaceuticals. The delivery came under US pressure and precedes the expected launch of a new American-led aid mechanism. Scheduled to begin on Sunday, the mechanism will feature IDF security on the outer perimeter, private American security within, and distribution by international organizations.
Reut Ben Haim, chairwoman of Tsav 9, said: "Letting these trucks pass to Hamas is an indescribable injustice. We cannot stand idly by while our hostages continue to suffer. The Israeli public must act to stop this horror and the strengthening of a terrorist organization while 58 hostages are still held in Gaza."
Capt. (res.) Asriel Makhlav, a member of Generation of Victory, added: "While our friends are dying in combat in Gaza, Israel is handing aid to Hamas on a silver platter. This isn't humanitarian, it's national suicide. This is humanitarian ammunition. Every truck that enters Gaza prolongs the war. It's time to say: Until the hostages are home, no aid. We will be here every week, hundreds of reservists, stopping this madness with our own hands."
