The case of the Petah Tikva teacher who had sexual relations with two 17-year-old boys from the school where she taught was revealed this evening, with new details continuing to emerge. Several months ago, T., a 43-year-old English teacher at a middle school in Petah Tikva, was summoned for police questioning. There, she admitted to the acts, and her case was closed for lack of guilt.

During the investigation, she admitted to having sexual relations with two students at her home while another student watched, and this occurred while her husband was serving in the reserves. However, it was established during the investigation that she had relations with two 17-year-old high school students while she was teaching at a middle school, meaning no offense involving abuse of authority was committed.

Furthermore, according to the law, 17-year-olds are considered adults regarding consensual sexual relations. The case was transferred from the police to the State Attorney's Office, where it was decided to close it due to lack of guilt, meaning no criminal offense was committed.

"I hurt my husband"

During the police investigation, the teacher said, "I deeply regret it, my family is about to fall apart. I hurt my husband and my two young children. I wish I could turn back time."

A source close to the teacher told Israel Hayom, "She made a mistake. She committed an immoral act but not a criminal one. These were not students she taught. She is pained by the harm caused to her husband and children, and she is doing everything to prevent her family from falling apart."

The school was aware

The teacher was accused and admitted to inappropriate behavior after having sexual relations with two of her students. She had been teaching for nine years and began forming inappropriate relationships with boys starting in September 2024.

She corresponded with three minor students through private messages and on social media and even smoked cigarettes with them at school. In January, she invited three 11th-grade students (aged 17) to her home, where she had sexual relations with two of them simultaneously while the third watched.

The school was aware of the situation – students and some parents knew about her excessive closeness with students. According to testimonies, teachers discussed the matter among themselves. The parents of the student who witnessed the acts filed a complaint with the police, but it was closed.
