Saudi channel Al Hadath quoted a senior Iranian official as saying that Iranian leader Mojtaba Khamenei has recovered from the injury he sustained in the strike during Operation Roaring Lion and is now "in full health."
Since his father's elimination and his appointment as the new supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Mojtaba has not been seen in public, no footage of him has been released, and speculation over his fate has not stopped.
Mojtaba survived the strike that killed his father by a matter of seconds, according to a recording leaked to Britain's Telegraph. According to remarks by a senior official in Ali Khamenei's office who survived the strike, Mojtaba stepped out into the courtyard of the compound on the morning of Feb. 28 just as ballistic missiles hit the site. The strike also killed Mojtaba's wife, son and other relatives.

About a month ago, The Times published an investigation saying that the younger Khamenei was hospitalized in a coma in the Shiite holy city of Qom. Two weeks earlier, US President Donald Trump said Mojtaba Khamenei was in serious condition and that it was not even known whether he was alive.
Iran, meanwhile, has tried to project business as usual, occasionally publishing written statements in his name, but without any proof that he is in fact still alive.
