Somewhere in Britain, a residence awaits Harry and Meghan – one arranged away from royal property and shielded from public disclosure by security concerns, Daily Mail reported.
No working royal duties will accompany their arrival, anticipated within a fortnight. Archie and Lilibet's enrolment at a British school is already in motion, though whether the return represents a permanent break from Montecito and Portugal remains unconfirmed.
The property's address has been treated as confidential. Frogmore Cottage was their last British base – held for under a year yet subjected to £2.4 million in renovations across its Grade-II listed interiors, Daily Mail noted.

Structural replacements – beams, joists, water and gas mains, electrical rewiring – accompanied £50,000 in soundproofing; Soho Home furnished the space.
Vicky Charles, the Soho House designer linked to the Beckhams and Clooneys, applied vegan paint as part of a broader decorative overhaul. Two semi-detached cottages, gifted as a wedding present by the late Queen, were merged into a single family dwelling. Reversing that work – assessed but not yet approved – is said to represent a costly and complex undertaking.
January 2020 brought the end of their working royal chapter; Montecito, California, became home. Six months later Harry cleared the £2.4 million debt; in 2023, King Charles issued an eviction order – timed to the release of Spare. A Cotswolds lease came before Frogmore: a £4.12 million farmhouse on the Great Tew Estate near Chipping Norton, held for two years after their 2018 wedding.
Four bedrooms, a converted barn, a secondary two-bedroom cottage, and four heated acres formed the Westfield Large estate, Daily Mail reported.
Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace came first. In November 2017, Meghan relocated from Toronto after Suits ended – 1,300 square feet, black-and-white kitchen tiles, a combined dining-living space.

A source told UsWeekly, "With Suits over, so is Meghan's life in Toronto." The same source added, "It's the end of a really precious era, so she's definitely sad to see it come to an end, but she's also really excited about starting a new chapter with Harry."
In the Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, Meghan said, "Kensington Palace sounds very regal, of course it does."
She then said, "It says 'palace' in the name. But it was so small." Harry followed, saying, "The whole thing's on a slight lean, really low ceilings. I don't know who was there before; they must have been very short."
